Mariposa Paint-Out

Sierra Artists Gallery invites artists to the Second Annual Mariposa Paint Out. This is an open call. All are welcome to enter. All mediums accepted. The event is from Wednesday April 22nd to Sunday April 26th. Cash awards will be given at the Sunday afternoon reception. Artists may enter up to two date-stamped artworks, displayed framed or unframed, at the awards location. Artwork sale through Sierra Artists Gallery is after the awards ceremony.

Schedule:

Tuesday, April 21st at 5:00 PM, check in and canvas panel stamping begins.

Wednesday April 22nd 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM more stamping available. Artists may begin working anytime in Mariposa or Yosemite, after stamping.

Optional Workshops with Award-Winning Instructors: Veronica Gross, Christine Obers and Penny Otwell. See the Sierra Artists Gallery website for workshop details, descriptions, instructors’ information, and registration link.

Wednesday Evening registered artists meet and greet with complimentary pizza in historic downtown Mariposa.

Friday Evening, Nocturne Painting, Meet up historic downtown Mariposa.

Sunday Afternoon cash awards gathering with judges Veronica Gross and Mora Donahoe. Wet paint sale.

Registration:

Register to enter the Mariposa Paint Out at SierraArtistsGallery.com. Entry fee is $60.00. Limited to 45 participants. Once filled we will keep a waitlist. Deadline, April 15th, 2026.
