Our paint-out at Oak Glen Preserve will be an adventure not to miss!

Admission is free, and there are bathroom facilities at the preserve.

Drive time to the preserve from the South Bay is about two hours without heavy traffic.

You can go to the preserve directly, arriving at the time of your choice. We will meet in the parking lot and paint from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

This paint-out is hosted by Christopher Stillians and Kathy Young.

Stay for the BBQ!

Everyone is welcome to come to Kathy’s place after 12:00 p.m. for a potluck BBQ. Her house is about a 15-minute drive from Oak Glen Preserve. Bring whatever you would like to drink, and what you want to put on the grill. Kathy is going to make a casserole and have hot dogs and buns. Chris will bring some turkey burgers to grill. Feel free to bring a side dish if you want.

If you are bringing food that needs to be refrigerated, you can come to Kathy Young’s house by 8:30 a.m. and put it in her refrigerator. You can come after 8:30 a.m., but she will probably not be there, but someone else will be there with whom you can leave your food, then proceed to the preserve.

For those willing, we can share our paintings after lunch.
